Description
The Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church was originally built as a barn for St Olaf’s Church in the 14th Century, the building became a chapel before the KGB took it over as storage space during the Soviet occupation. In 2000, the Church was dedicated to the Virgin with Three Hands, who protects all those who have been unjustly punished or persecuted. Anyone who has suffered an injustice can write down their problems on a piece of paper and slip the note through a hatch at the front of the Church to seek help from Mary, Mother of God. Its amazing interior was designed by Anatoli Ljutjuk as well as its iconostasis painted by Pyotr Gumenyuk.
Our postcards are handmade from 100% recycled paper and printed with our letterpress on both sides.
