Description
The chicadee can be one of the most common avian visitors during winter time – especially if you have a bird feeder and also choose to hang a strip of bacon. During the summer, chickadees make gardneners happy by catching and eating pests. Chicadees have a nice yellow belly which makes them one of the most recognizable and noticeable birds in Estonia. They also start to sing quite early at the end of winter and so the chicadee’s song of „sitsi-kleit, sitsi-kleit“ (cotton dress) is a sign that spring will be coming soon.
Our postcards are handmade from 100% recycled paper and printed with our letterpress on both sides.
