Description
The Emperor dragonfly is one of the largest dragonfly species in Europe. It is a relative newcomer to Estonia as the first specimen was only caught here in 1989. The Emperor dragonly is one of the very fastest insects. If you manage to spot a male dragonfly, you can admire its beautiful blue back with a black line runing down the center. As this species is only able to reproduce in unpolluted water, we are very happy to see them living in Estonia.
Our postcards are handmade from 100% recycled paper and printed with our letterpress on both sides.
