In the autumn of 2018 we organised twelve Creative Makers workshops, during which children and their parents had the opportunity to make paper by hand, print with letterpress and prepare stop-motion animations. The overall theme of our creative work and discussions were environmental issues. We started the workshops off with a question: “How can each one of us contribute to the preservation of Estonian nature?” and then looked for answers together.
The posters and videos created as a result of this project are now going to be exhibited in the National Library. You are very welcome to join us for the opening which will take place on the 19th of January. Stop by between 12:00 and 15:00 to see the artwork, join a workshop and have something sweet to eat. The exhibition will be open for the next year in the library’s regular opening times – you don’t need a library card to enter.
