Description
Carrots are one of most popular vegetables in Estonia. While first cultivated in manor house gardens, carrots were soon grown on Estonian farms as they had become quite popular by the end of the 19th Century. Carrots vie for second or third place – along with cucumbers and cabbage – in a typical Estonian kitchen. Carrots are used in many different salads, soups, and dressings. Carrots can also be pickled together with other vegetables so that they can be consumed during the winter months.
Our postcards are handmade from 100% recycled paper and printed with our letterpress on both sides.
